On January 30th, 2025, the Wichita Innovative Schools and Educators (WISE) will host a field trip for students from non-traditional learning environments to the Exploration Place science center in honor of National School Choice Week! As the third annual School Choice Week event hosted by the Wichita Innovative Schools and Educators (WISE), this event will provide an exciting learning experience for over 500 students and family members and provide a great way to celebrate school choice.

National School Choice Week 2025 features numerous large-scale school fairs in multiple states, offering parents unique opportunities to explore various schooling options, including public, charter, magnet, private, online, home, and microschooling environments.
Please join the Kansas Policy Institute and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation for a celebration of school choice at the Kansas State Capitol on January 28th 2025 from 11:30am – 12:30pm! We will host over 200 students to meet with legislators and share what school choice means to them. This event will highlight many of our state’s educational options and the opportunities they offer to families. This event will be fun and family friendly with giveaways and entertainment, and an exciting opportunity for students to learn about the state capitol, and for legislators to hear from students, families and educators about the importance of school choice!
