Agora Cyber Charter School is excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week (January 26-February 1, 2020) with a special spotlight event!
Agora is a Cyber Charter School’s event is special because it is during NSCW and we can talk and celebrate our choices to go cyber! At our event, students, teachers, and families will have an opportunity to explore the science center, socialize, and discuss the importance of school choice! There will also be a community lunch together.
Agora Cyber Charter School, established in 2005, is a free online public school for Pennsylvania students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Agora’s engaging curriculum is offered by dedicated, Pennsylvania-certified teachers, committed to an individualized learning approach. Faculty and staff work together to provide a system of support so every student has what they need to succeed. An extensive variety of extracurricular online and in-person activities guarantee an enriching assortment of social opportunities. Agora is focused on providing all students the skills and knowledge to be successful lifelong learners in whatever career or vocation they pursue.
Started in 2011, National School Choice Week is the world’s largest annual education-related celebration. The goal of NSCW, which features participation from tens of thousands of schools and organizations, is to shine a positive spotlight on effective education options for children.
During National School Choice Week, schools across America celebrate the challenging, motivating, and effective education they provide to students. At the same time, parents use the week to learn more about the education options available to their children, in advance of the upcoming school year.
National School Choice Week is nonpartisan and nonpolitical, and is not related to any legislative advocacy efforts.
