WHO:
This event is hosted by Antioch Charter Academy.
The Antioch Charter Academies are progressive, tuition-free public charter schools designed specifically to produce lifelong learners by nurturing and guiding them in a natural learning environment. We are Charter Schools – which are California public schools, offering teachers and parents input and control into the students’ educational program in exchange for accountability. We are a place where students, teachers, parents, and administrators work together to create the optimum learning environment. We combine positive discipline, understanding of multiple intelligences and brain compatibility, multi-age grouping, Montessori philosophies, natural and logical consequences, classroom meetings, lifelong guidelines and life skills, with parent volunteering, an excellent teaching staff, and terrific children, to make a school of which we are very proud.
WHEN:
Monday, January 23, 2023
WHERE:
Antioch, California
This special event will celebrate school choice options available for children and families across the state of California.

National School Choice Week (NSCW) informs, inspires, and empowers parents to discover the K-12 education options available for their children, including traditional public, charter, magnet, online, private, and homeschooling.
Every January, tens of thousands of schools, organizations, and individuals plan unique events and activities to shine a positive spotlight on effective education options in their communities. The Week is a project of the nonpartisan, nonpolitical National School Choice Awareness Foundation.
