Students, teachers and staff at Lexington Park Baptist Church Preschool in Lexington Park, Maryland are excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week with a special event!

LPBC Preschool & Kindergarten are planning a weeklong celebration during school choice week. We will have a spirit week with different dress up days. During the week classes will work on decorating their doors, painting a schoolwide mural, and completing different arts/crafts projects. The week will culminate with yellow day including the scarf giveaway, judging the door decorating contest, the hanging of our mural, a photo shoot, and an art gallery for the parents/students/staff to view.

This event is not open to the public.

This event is hosted by Lexington Park Baptist Church Preschool.

LPBC Preschool & Kindergarten is a developmental learning preschool for children ages two through kindergarten. Continuing the vision established in 1969, LPBC Preschool strives to be a quality preschool at an affordable price. We believe in play-based, hands-on learning. Our preschool and K students are taught basic Christian truths, social skills, and age-appropriate academic skills—math, science, social studies, reading, and handwriting. They participate in crafts, music, and games that continue to develop both fine and gross motor skills. We offer a well-rounded program that is fun, encouraging and filled with God’s love.

National School Choice Week (NSCW) informs, inspires, and empowers parents to discover the K-12 education options available for their children, including traditional public, charter, magnet, online, private, and homeschooling.

Every January, tens of thousands of schools, organizations, and individuals plan unique events and activities to shine a positive spotlight on effective education options in their communities. The Week is a project of the nonpartisan, nonpolitical National School Choice Awareness Foundation.
