Students, teachers and staff at Madrone Adventist Elementary School in Cave Junction, Oregon are excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week with a special event!
Adventist Church Community will be having a booth at the fair. Madrone School will be videoing the STARS at our school performing the School Choice Dance. We will have the video available for all parents and families to view from the school website and will be previewing it at our Adventist Church. We want our supporters and community to know how proud we are of our Stars and School.
This event is not open to the public.
This event is hosted by Madrone Adventist Elementary School.
We are a small two-room private Christian school – Pre/K & Kinder in one room and 1st – 8th grade in the other. We are in a rural community and are supported by the Adventist North Pacific Union, Oregon Conference, and our local Adventist church. this year our school is working hard at becoming more integrated within our community and providing community service. Besides learning and videoing the “School Choice” Dance (to show at our community service day, we are working at educating our local community as to the educational experiences and advantages we offer at Madrone. Our enrollment has increased this year. Due to requests from our community to have Pre/k & K and also our elementary numbers are up. We want our small community to know there is another choice that is a good one for their children.

National School Choice Week (NSCW) informs, inspires, and empowers parents to discover the K-12 education options available for their children, including traditional public, charter, magnet, online, private, and homeschooling.
Every January, tens of thousands of schools, organizations, and individuals plan unique events and activities to shine a positive spotlight on effective education options in their communities. The Week is a project of the nonpartisan, nonpolitical National School Choice Awareness Foundation.
