Students, teachers and staff at Mesquite Elementary School Gilbert in Gilbert, Arizona are excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week with a special event!
WHAT:
Mesquite Elementary School will be celebrating our school spirit as a school of choice with a “Yellow Day” Kick-Off, designing posters about what we LOVE our school, scarf giveaways and tours of our school for prospective families.
This event is open to the public.

This event is hosted by Mesquite Elementary School Gilbert.
At Mesquite, we develop the WHOLE child! We offer full-day Building Blocks preschool (3 and 4 yrs old) and the Advantage preschool program. We offer full-day kindergarten, have a Gifted program and we are a community school. We also host the Performance Academy program for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students. Mesquite Elementary has strong educational and service-learning partnerships with Gilbert High School, CGCC/NAU Teacher Prep, First Things First and local businesses. Mesquite is proud to be a FUTP60 (NFL Fuel Up to Play 60) School valuing the need for students to be active to be healthy. Mesquite offers a variety of clubs for students to be involved, i.e.: STEM Club, Oceanography Club, Mesquite Theater, FUTP60 Club, MOVERS Club, NEHS and more! Mesquite prides itself as a safe, “joyful”, supportive, inclusive, best place to work and learn environment, which provides for ALL children an exceptional educational experience where students tackle new situations with Grit & Grace.
