Students, teachers and staff at Nevada State High School – Las Vegas Downtown in Las Vegas, Nevada are excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week with a special event!
WHAT:
Nevada State High School will be celebrating National School Choice Week all week long! We are hosting a scarf giveaway, planning virtual and in-person open houses and campus tours, posting a ‘Why Did you Choose NSHS?’ video contest on social media, and ending the festivities with our School Choice Bowlie Hawkins Celebration at The Orleans Hotel & Casino for over 600 students!
This event is not open to the public.

Unique to the state of Nevada, Nevada State High School (NSHS) is a tuition-free public charter school. At this state-funded high school, juniors and seniors take real college courses with real college professors on real college and university campuses in Nevada. These courses count for both high school and college credit, making it possible for our students to earn their high school diplomas while getting a head start on their college degrees. The best part about it? Attending NSHS is absolutely free. Nevada State High School has nine campuses across the State of Nevada.
