Whether you are looking for a preschool, kindergarten, or something new for your student already in school, we invite you to join us for an open house. We hope you will also take time to tour Our Savior’s and meet your child’s teacher. We would be happy to schedule a shadow day for your child (Grades 3-8) as well. This event is hosted by Our Saviors Lutheran School.
Our Savior’s Lutheran School offers a quality education from preschool through 8th grade to almost 200 students in the Springfield (Illinois) and surrounding area. A Christ-centered education is offered at Our Savior’s. Faith is developed and nurtured on a daily basis with class instruction and woven into every part of the day. Our Savior’s curriculum integrates Illinois State Standards while keeping Christian values and perspectives as the core in all subject areas. Our Savior’s offers a solid core curriculum including Literature, English, Math/Accelerated Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion, along with physical education, band, chorus, music, art, foreign language, and computers. Developing the gifts and talents of each student through a wide variety of extracurricular activities is crucial: grade level choirs, band and music competitions, chess club, scholastic bowl, and several academic competitions, spelling, geography, math, and Bible.
