Red Bank Charter School NSCW Celebration Open House

Red Bank Charter School is excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week (January 26-February 1, 2020) with a special spotlight event!

The event will feature an open House for the community from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. It is part of our ongoing student recruitment efforts for the 2020-2021 academic year. We hope parents, students and the community will come out to our Open House to gain an understanding of what RBCS is all about, and how we have been serving the students in our community for 20 years. During the Open House, we will be showcasing and spotlighting student accomplishments at RBCS with a focus on the needs of the whole child through character education and responsive classrooms. As the date of our event also falls on Dr. MLK, Jr., day we will additionally be spotlighting a day of service.

RBCS believes that celebrating individuality, appreciating cultural diversity, mastering conflict resolution, and insisting on accountability by all is a foundation for good citizenship. We are grounded in three bedrock beliefs: 1.) All children can Learn; 2.) All children must care for themselves and others, and 3.) All Children should contribute to their larger world We pride ourselves on supporting the needs of the whole child.

Started in 2011, National School Choice Week is the world’s largest annual education-related celebration. The goal of NSCW, which features participation from tens of thousands of schools and organizations, is to shine a positive spotlight on effective education options for children.

During National School Choice Week, schools across America celebrate the challenging, motivating, and effective education they provide to students. At the same time, parents use the week to learn more about the education options available to their children, in advance of the upcoming school year.

National School Choice Week is nonpartisan and nonpolitical, and is not related to any legislative advocacy efforts.
