Saint Francis Catholic Academy is excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week (January 26-February 1, 2020) with a special spotlight event!
Saint Francis Catholic Academy open house is an opportunity for prospective students and parents to explore SFCA as a school choice for their students high school career. Visitors will have access to all departments including Admissions, Advancement, Athletics, Finance and Guidance. With the opportunity to interact with knowledgeable staff members in each of those departments. Additionally ,they will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, interact with our entire faculty and sample our extraordinary high-tech learning tools, including our student-built Augmented Reality Sand Table and state of the art TI N-Spire Calculators and multiple 3D printers. Visitor will have the rare opportunity to observe and experience the only digital human and animal dissection table in the Gainesville community. Current students will also be present to guide tours, answer questions and highlight all the extracurricular activities that SFCA has to offer. Being held at the beginning of Catholic Schools Week, January 27th-January 31st, it will be an upbeat celebration of Catholic education and Saint Francis Catholic Academy as one of the top 2500 STEM schools in the nation, as reported by Newsweek partnered with STEM.org. We will be providing scholarship information. SFCA accepts Florida Tax Credit, John McKay Scholarship, Gardiner Scholarship, and Family Empowerment Scholarship.
National School Choice Week is the world’s largest annual education-related celebration. The goal of NSCW, which features participation from tens of thousands of schools and organizations, is to shine a positive spotlight on effective education options for children.
During National School Choice Week, schools across America celebrate the challenging, motivating, and effective education they provide to students. At the same time, parents use the week to learn more about the education options available to their children, in advance of the upcoming school year.
National School Choice Week is nonpartisan and nonpolitical, and is not related to any legislative advocacy efforts.
