Students, teachers and staff at Syracuse Academy of Citizenship and Science Charter School in Syracuse, New York are excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week with a special event!
Citizenship Academy will be celebrating School Choice week all week long with different family activities each night to celebrate our home to school connection! Our staff will end School Choice week with a YELLOW DAY!
This event is not open to the public.
This event is hosted by Syracuse Academy of Citizenship and Science Charter School.
Aligned in with the school’s mission to graduate college-ready and civic-minded students is an emphasis on offering high-quality instruction and curriculum that has been developed to provide every student the opportunity to attend college. SANY schools provides several opportunities to teach thinking globally and acting locally to all its students through character-building education, mentorship programs, community service, international trips and activities, and various citizenship programs. In all K-12 levels, SANY promotes real-world problem solving and exploration in science and mathematics, with interactive engagement and collaborative problem-solving opportunities, field trips to environmentally friendly locations and science museums, and regular use of technology. By creating a small school environment at each location, SANY schools create a family atmosphere in which all staff members know each other and their students, which provides a safe and controlled environment.
