Students, teachers and staff at Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School in Somerset, New Jersey are excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week with a special event!

TEECS will be celebrating School Choice all week. Events will include a dress down, student work, and the school choice dance.

This event is not open to the public.

This event is hosted by Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School.

The Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School (TEECS) is a tuition-free public school and the first K­-12 School in the state of NJ to focus specifically on green/renewable energy. Mission: TEECS’ mission is to offer a safe, structured, and stimulating educational environment for students to develop the academic, technical, financial, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills that will enable them to meet the standards and succeed in a sustainable future predicated on knowledge and innovations in renewable energy and beyond within a green global community. Vision: TEECS will instill in every student the desire to continually expand their intellect and use the content knowledge and skills they’ve acquired to participate and responsibly shape the direction of a complex world with ever-increasing climate challenges and energy demand. TEECS accepts students from three area school districts including Franklin, North Brunswick and South Brunswick Townships.
