Students, teachers and staff at Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School in Somerset, New Jersey are excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week with a special event!
WHAT:
TEECS will be celebrating School Choice all week. Events will include a dress down, student work, and the school choice dance.
This event is not open to the public.

The Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School (TEECS) is a tuition-free public school and the first K-12 School in the state of NJ to focus specifically on green/renewable energy. Mission: TEECS’ mission is to offer a safe, structured, and stimulating educational environment for students to develop the academic, technical, financial, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills that will enable them to meet the standards and succeed in a sustainable future predicated on knowledge and innovations in renewable energy and beyond within a green global community. Vision: TEECS will instill in every student the desire to continually expand their intellect and use the content knowledge and skills they’ve acquired to participate and responsibly shape the direction of a complex world with ever-increasing climate challenges and energy demand. TEECS accepts students from three area school districts including Franklin, North Brunswick and South Brunswick Townships.
