Students, teachers and staff at Wheatley Elementary School in Louisville, Kentucky are excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week with a special event!
Wheatley Elementary will be celebrating our school spirit the week of January 23, 2023. Events will include yellow day, student share outs, scarf giveaways, and social media announcements.
This event is open to the public.

Wheatley Elementary is a community of learners committed to excellence. We pledge to work collaboratively to provide intentional, high-quality instruction in order to educate and prepare our students to compete and contribute to society throughout life. We aim for every student to be reading at grade level upon the completion of third grade and at-or-above grade level in all core subjects (reading, writing, math, science, and social studies) upon entry into middle school.

National School Choice Week (NSCW) informs, inspires, and empowers parents to discover the K-12 education options available for their children, including traditional public, charter, magnet, online, private, and homeschooling.
Every January, tens of thousands of schools, organizations, and individuals plan unique events and activities to shine a positive spotlight on effective education options in their communities. The Week is a project of the nonpartisan, nonpolitical National School Choice Awareness Foundation.
