Students, teachers and staff at Youth Advancement Academy in Kalamazoo, Michigan are excited to announce that they will be celebrating National School Choice Week with a special event!
WHAT:
Youth Advancement Academy will be hosting spirit week where students can dress up as their favorite characters from books, movies, tv shows, and we will also hold mock elections. We will have a door decorating contest where all our students will decorate doors in the school with why their school of choice best serves them, their needs, and our community.
This event is Yes open to the public.
WHO:
This event is hosted by Youth Advancement Academy.
We are a strict discipline school who serves students who are At Risk, who have been suspended over 10 days from their home school, Expelled, on probation, or involved in drug Court. We serve grades 6-12 with our students having the option of working remotely or coming into the school. all our students work on the online platform, Edenuity.
