Public magnet schools do not charge tuition. They are managed by school districts and focus on themes, such as math, science, technology, and the arts.

      Sobre la Semana Nacional de Opciones Escolares

      Durante la Semana Nacional de Opciones Escolares o NSCW por sus siglas en ingles, escuelas, grupos de estudios de casa, padres de familia, organizaciones e individuos en general organizan docenas de miles de eventos independientes. Estos eventos de festivos buscan incrementar el conocimiento sobre las diferentes opciones educativas desde kindergarten hasta el ultimo año de secundaria (K-12) disponibles para la niñez de este pais, al igual que se destacan los beneficios de tener opciones escolares.

      NSCW reconoce todas las K-12 opciones, incluyendo las escuelas públicas tradicionales, escuelas públicas chárters, escuelas magnet, escuelas privadas, escuelas en línea y la educación desde casa.

      En 2011 empezamos este esfuerzo, ahora NSCW es la celebración anual de oportunidades educacionales más grande del mundo. En los últimos once años mas de 131,000 eventos han sido organizados en el país y en el mundo.

      NSCW es un esfuerzo publico no partidista, apolítico, independiente. Por lo tanto, no estamos asociados con ningún esfuerzo legislativo o de cabildeo.
