EVENT ADVISORY: WMS will hold event on January 23 to celebrate National School Choice Week 2019

The special event will feature students in grades 6-8.

Yazoo City — Bettie E. Woolfolk Middle School announced today that it will celebrate the school’s students, teachers, and staff during National School Choice Week which will be held from January 20-26, 2019.

Held every January, National School Choice Week is the world’s largest annual celebration of opportunity in K-12 education. The week is nonpartisan and nonpolitical. The goal is to raise awareness of the different K-12 education options available for children, including traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, online academies, and homeschooling.
