EVENT ADVISORY: Chesapeake Lighthouse Foundation to hold event on January 21, 2019 to celebrate during National School Choice Week January 20-26

 

This special event will raise awareness about the importance and benefits of school choice.

Laurel — CLF will hold a special event to celebrate National School Choice Week 2019, CLF leaders announced today.

CLF, which is statewide organization, expects 100 people to attend this event.

Held every January, National School Choice Week is the world’s largest annual celebration of opportunity in K-12 education. The week is nonpartisan and nonpolitical. The goal is to raise awareness of the different K-12 education options available for children, including traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, online academies, and homeschooling.

CLF joins tens of thousands of schools, homeschool groups, organizations, chambers of commerce – and millions of individual Americans – in celebrating National School Choice Week.
