INDIANAPOLIS (Jan. 15, 2019) –EdChoice is planning a celebration of students, teachers, and all things school choice at the National School Choice Week Reception at the Conrad Indianapolis from 5:30 to 7:30 on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

During the cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception, special guest speaker and community advocate Adrianne Slash, who has attended both public and private schools, will share her experiences working to inform young professionals about the state of K-12 education in the Hoosier state.

This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.

“We’re excited to celebrate our incredible successes in Indiana, which has become a national leader in the school choice movement,” said Jennifer Wagner, vice president of communications at EdChoice. “We will use this week’s momentum to draw attention to educational opportunity and its potential to change the future for Hoosier families across our state.”

About 200 school choice supporters are expected to attend the reception. Registration is required and can be completed online at http://www.cvent.com/d/sbq654.
