ALBUQUERQUE (Jan. 14, 2019)–Eighth grade students and their families are invited to attend an open house at Freedom High School on Wednesday, Jan. 23. The event will take place 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium and will also be attended by students, families, and staff from Freedom High School.
The open house will feature remarks by counselor Mychele Cordero and advisor Mandy Shaw, as well as a video on how Freedom High School can help students achieve their educational goals. The event will include an award ceremony for current Freedom High School students, highlighting how students participate in earning their diplomas.
This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
“We will be celebrating National School Choice Week by showing how students with determination can work toward graduating from a school of choice,” said Anita Moreno, parent liaison at Freedom High School.
Freedom High School is a diploma-granting school of choice that provides educational services for high school students.
