YOUNGSTOWN (Jan. 15, 2019) – Stambaugh Charter Academy is hosting local families and community organizations on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. at Stambaugh Charter Academy. The event will celebrate school choice and showcase high-quality school choice options throughout the Youngstown community. Several past and present students will be speaking about the difference that school choice has made in their lives.

This celebration coincides with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.

“We have a proud history of student success at Stambaugh Charter Academy. Thousands of lives have been changed for the better because of the dedication of our educators combined with the power of school choice,” said Principal Wendy Thomas. “Every child, regardless of their income or where they live, must have the opportunity to receive a world-class education. What has happened at Stambaugh Charter Academy gives us hope. This success is possible for every school and every district across Ohio.”

Stambaugh Charter Academy is located at 2420 Donald Ave in Youngstown. The event is open to media and the public.
