There are a variety of school choice options available for many of the 430,000 children living in Idaho. Families in Idaho can choose from traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, online academies, and homeschooling.
In 2025, we are partnering with 217 schools and organizations in Idaho to raise awareness of K-12 education options.

Braintree Academy is celebrating NSCW 2026 by doing Capitol visits/tours in each of the states we have students in (Idaho, Indiana, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Wyoming). We are hosting a competition where our students write about the importance of school choice with the winner sharing their writing with the governor’s office.
