There are a variety of school choice options available for many of the 4.2 million children living in New York. Families in New York can choose from traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, online academies, and homeschooling.
In 2025, we are partnering with 1,363 schools and organizations in New York to raise awareness of K-12 education options.
