School Choice in South Dakota

There are a variety of school choice options available for many of the 207,000 children living in South Dakota. Families in South Dakota can choose from traditional public schools, private schools, and homeschooling.

In 2025, we are partnering with 90 schools and organizations in South Dakota to raise awareness of K-12 education options.
