About the Event
Families in Alaska have more choices for their children’s education than ever before! Parents: learn more about the different K–12 education options available for your kids at the Anchorage School Choice Expo on January 31, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the Alaska Native Heritage Center. At the school fair, you’ll have the chance to meet representatives from various school models such as traditional public, public charter, public magnet, private, faith-based, online, home, and nontraditional schooling options, and have your questions answered! The Anchorage School Choice Expo is hosted by the Alaska School Choice Coalition in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. It’s family-friendly, free to attend, and will include complimentary refreshments, prizes, face painting and balloon artists. RSVP today!
