About the Event
The Kansas Policy Institute and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation hosted a celebration of school choice at the Kansas State Capitol on January 27th, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM! More than 500 students gathered to meet with legislators and share what school choice meant to them. The event highlighted many of the state’s educational options and the opportunities they offer to families. It was a fun and family-friendly event with giveaways and entertainment, as well as an exciting opportunity for students to learn about the state capitol and for legislators to hear directly from students, families, and educators about the importance of school choice.
