About the Event

On January 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, families enjoyed a morning full of energy, laughter, and talent! Students from all types of schools — public, charter, private, homeschool, and more — came together to showcase their skills and celebrate the many ways kids learn and grow. The fun kicked off with a friendly game of “Family/School Feud,” where students from different grade levels teamed up to answer questions about school life, learning, and just-for-fun topics. Then, the spotlight turned to their unique talents — music, technology, art, poetry, and more — proving there’s no limit to what young people can do. Hosted by Black Alabamians for Education in partnership with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation, this event was all about community, creativity, and the power of educational opportunities for every child. Families and supporters cheered them on, were inspired, and celebrated these amazing students!
