There are a variety of school choice options available for many of the 180,000 children living in Alaska. Families in Alaska can choose from traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, and homeschooling.

In 2025, we are partnering with 73 schools and organizations in Alaska to raise awareness of K-12 education options.
