There are a variety of school choice options available for many of the 3 million children living in Illinois. Families in Illinois can choose from traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, and homeschooling.
In 2025, we are partnering with 1,031 schools and organizations in Illinois to raise awareness of K-12 education options.
