About the Event

Families Empowered and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation hosted a school fair to celebrate school choice on January 31st, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Held at The Bullock Texas State History Museum, the event showcased schools representing a range of education options, including traditional public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, and private schools. Families had the chance to meet educators, ask questions, and gather information to help make the best and most informed choice for their children. The event was fun and family-friendly, featuring a balloon artist, photo booths, free food, and face painters.
