School Choice in Kentucky

There are a variety of school choice options available for many of the 1 million children living in Kentucky. Families in Kentucky can choose from traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, online academies, and homeschooling.

In 2025, we are partnering with 268 schools and organizations in Kentucky to raise awareness of K-12 education options.
