There are a variety of school choice options available for many of the 950,000 children living in Oklahoma. Families in Oklahoma can choose from traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, online academies, and homeschooling.
In 2025, we are partnering with 344 schools and organizations in Oklahoma to raise awareness of K-12 education options.

ABC’s & 123’s Nature Learning Academy is celebrating NSCW 2026 with our Choice Week event which focuses on celebrating children’s independence, curiosity, and decision-making through hands-on, nature-based learning. Each day, children are offered meaningful choices in their play and activities such as selecting a sensory bin to explore, choosing a story to read as a group, helping prepare a snack, or picking a nature walk path at Cann Garden.

Hanna Elementary School is celebrating NSCW 2026 by partnering with our Creek Indian and Creek Nation community to hold a stomp dance. We are also having a parent teacher conference, an open house, and sponsoring a cross country meet on campus.

Mounds Middle School is celebrating NSCW 2026 with a spirit week where students write on sticky notes what they love about their school and teachers and posting them in hallways. We photograph those for use in our yearbook and one the school website.
