There are a variety of school choice options available for many of the 380,000 children living in West Virginia. Families in West Virginia can choose from traditional public schools, public magnet schools, private schools, and homeschooling.
In 2025, we are partnering with 157 schools and organizations in West Virginia to raise awareness of K-12 education options.

We are also doing a variety of fun activities with the students in the classroom to help promote New Martinsville School and promoting on our school’s social media and the county’s social media page.

Parkersburg Catholic High School is celebrating NSCW 2026 by holding a Catholic Schools Week event where we celebrate what it means to be part of a Catholic school. Both our elementary and our middle high come together for mass and activities, we also hold spirit days, a community service day, school service day and much more.
