About the Event
Celebrate National School Choice Week by joining us for Charter Day on the Hill on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Charter Day on the Hill is a dynamic celebration of Utah’s public charter schools, bringing together more than 800 students, educators, parents, and school leaders at the Utah State Capitol to recognize the impact of school choice. Hosted by Utah Association of Public Charter Schools and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation, the event highlights the academic achievement, creativity, and civic engagement of Utah’s charter school community. Throughout the day, attendees will hear remarks from state leaders, take guided tours of the Capitol, learn about the Utah Legislature, meet with education officials, and enjoy a variety of student performances that showcase the talent and dedication found across our schools.
