About the Event

The School Choice Week DC Celebration, hosted by Serving Our Children, will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Hook Hall. This carnival-themed event features games, music, food, and family-friendly activities, including moon-bounce experiences, boxed lunches, and raffles for gift cards. Representatives from many of our 38 Opportunity Scholarship Program (OSP) schools, and other education and community agencies will be present to engage families and share details about educational programs available to DC students. Parents will have opportunities to learn about school choice, write advocacy letters, and access tailored assistance with the scholarship process. Parents can also attend special sessions to learn more about the Opportunity Scholarship Program.
