About the Event

Please join the Kansas Policy Institute and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation for a celebration of school choice at the Kansas State Capitol on January 27, 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm! We will host over 500 students to meet with legislators and share what school choice means to them. This event will highlight many of our state’s educational options and the opportunities they offer to families. This event will be fun and family friendly with giveaways and entertainment, and an exciting opportunity for students to learn about the state capitol, and for legislators to hear from students, families and educators about the importance of school choice!
