About the Event

Parents learned more about the different K–12 education options available for their kids at the New Haven School Choice Expo on January 31st, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Wilbur Cross High School. The school fair showcased all of the city’s traditional public schools as well as its public magnet programs. Families also had the chance to meet representatives from local public charter schools and got their questions answered. The New Haven School Choice Expo was hosted by New Haven Public Schools in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. It was free to attend and included complimentary snacks and family-friendly activities like photo booths, balloon artists, and a DJ.
