About the Event

American Experiment North Dakota and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation hosted a celebration of school choice at the North Dakota State Capitol on January 27, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Students from across North Dakota gathered at the State Capitol to meet with local legislators and share what school choice meant to them. The event showcased the diverse educational options available in the state and the opportunities they provide for families. Held inside Memorial Hall, the event featured student and parent speakers, as well as school representatives, creating a unique opportunity for students to engage with their state government and for legislators to hear directly from students about the value of school choice. Hot cocoa and light snacks were served to students and families throughout the event.
