School Makeovers and New Additions
Over the summer, Cedar Ridge Elementary transformed its elementary library with new flooring, paint, books, and creative centers. Returning students were stunned by the updates and a new “Million Words” brick wall inspires reading achievement.
“Here is a photo of our elementary library that we gutted in May and completely transformed over the summer. New flooring, new paint, a whole new layout, new books, special centers that I can’t get all in one photo such as a tea party center with several decorated tables, a hammock center, and a game center complete with arcade basketball, air hockey, and more. We revealed the library at our Open House this past Thursday. Returning students could not believe their eyes! We also now have a wall in one of the corners where students will get a brick of the wall dedicated to them if they reach 1 million words or more. We are constantly pushing the love of reading to our students and community, and the library renovation just adds to the excitement!”

One of the biggest highlights? Opening the doors to our newest building, LISA Academy Rogers-Bentonville Middle-High School, and greeting the very first 6th–10th grade classes to the building. These students aren’t just starting a school year; they’re making history on our newest campus.
