National School Choice Week 2024 made history as the largest celebration of educational opportunity in America. From January 21-27, this week-long celebration aimed to raise awareness of the different types of schools and education options available to parents.
The week was filled with fun and informative events, such as school fairs, flagship events, and capitol celebrations, that showcased the collaborative nationwide efforts to make educational choice accessible and engaging for families. This year, National School Choice Week was jam-packed with events nationwide including:
68 state flagship events across 45 states, planned by 66 nonprofit organizations, including 34 school fairs; 28 governors (and counting) proclaimed ‘School Choice Week’ in their state; 40 major landmarks across 22 states illuminated in yellow and red; and a total of 27,112 events across all 50 states.
