Students and parents joined the Black Mothers Forum and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation for “It’s Time to Hear from Mama”, a celebration of school choice in support of National School Choice Week on January 27th 2025 from 9:00 – 11:00am

Hosted in Phoenix Arizona, we highlighted students and parents speaking about the importance of school choice, and heard from leaders in the movement about the current state of school choice in the community. This event was an inspiring day to amplify the voices of Black mothers and celebrate choice in education!

What?

Families in Arizona have more choices for their children’s education than ever before! Parents learned more about the different providers and services available with ESA dollars at the inaugural Unbundled Expo on January 31st 2025, from 9:00am to 1:00pm, at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center Phoenix. At this event, families had the chance to meet representatives from curriculum providers, tutoring and other educational services, and got their questions answered.

The 2025 Unbundled Expo was hosted by First Day PR in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation.

What?

Families in Arizona have more choices for their children’s education than ever before! Parents learned more about the different K–12 education options available for their kids at the Phoenix School Fair on January 25th 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix.

At the school fair, parents had the chance to meet representatives from traditional public, public charter, public magnet, private, faith-based, online, home, and nontraditional schooling options, and get their questions answered.

The Phoenix School Fair was hosted by Choose A School in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. It was family-friendly, free to attend, and included complimentary food, photo booths and face painting.
