Families in Utah have more choices for their children’s education than ever before! Come celebrate with us on January 25th 2025 from 11:30am – 1:30pm at “A Fit For All Families”, an event to celebrate National School Choice Week and the Utah Fits All Scholarship.

Hosted at the Juan Diego Catholic High Schools, this event will showcase students and families who have benefited from the scholarship, and provide opportunities to hear from legislators and education providers.

“A Fit For All Families” is hosted by Utah Fits All in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. It’s family-friendly, free to attend, and will include complimentary food, face painting, balloon artists and other fun activities. RSVP today!

Families in Georgia have more choices for their children’s education than ever before! Parents learned about the different K–12 education options available for their kids at the Atlanta School Choice Expo on January 25th 2025 , from 11:00am to 2:00pm, at Loudermilk Conference Center.

At the school fair, families had the chance to meet representatives from traditional public, public charter, public magnet, and private schooling options, and get their questions answered.

The Atlanta School Choice Expo was hosted by GeorgiaCAN in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. It was free to attend, and included complimentary snacks and family friendly-activities like photo booths, balloon artists and a DJ. RSVP today!

What?

Families in Oklahoma have more choices for their children’s education than ever before! Parents learned more about the different K–12 education options available for their kids at the Oklahoma City School Fair on January 25th 2025, from 10:00am – 1:00pm, at the Advance Center For Free Enterprise.

At the school fair, parents had the chance to meet representatives from traditional public, public charter, public magnet, private, faith-based, online, home, and nontraditional schooling options, and get their questions answered.

The Oklahoma City School Fair was hosted by Choice Matters in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. It was family-friendly, free to attend, and included complimentary food, photo booths and face painting.

Students and parents joined LUMIN Schools and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation at Discovery World for Opportunity Day on January 30th 2025 from 5:30 – 8:30pm. This event was a celebration of LUMIN student accomplishments, and the capstone event of LUMIN’s lemonade fundraiser for the Milwaukee Children’s Hospital. Featuring student speakers and performers, this event was fun, family-friendly and educational, with light refreshments throughout the evening.

What?

Families joined Show Me KC Schools from 10:00am to 12:00pm on January 25th 2025 for their annual School Saturday to celebrate National School Choice Awareness Week! During this citywide school open house, participating schools opened their doors to host tours, highlight student projects and art and showcase student performances. Families and community members had the opportunity to visit schools they wanted to learn more about and explore their educational options in Kansas City. The Show Me KC Schools office was also open during this event to provide school search support and information to parents.

As the third annual School Choice Week event hosted by the Wichita Innovative Schools and Educators (WISE), this event provided an exciting learning experience for over 500 students and family members and provided a great way to celebrate school choice.

What?

Students and families joined us for a fun and exciting event celebrating National School Choice Week! On January 29th 2025 from 9:00am to 11:00am, students from public, charter, and private schools across the city came together for a special student showcase featuring a game of “School Feud.”

In this friendly competition, 5th graders tested their knowledge and teamwork as they answered questions related to education, school life, and more. After each round of the game, the spotlight turned to the students’ individual talents. From singing and technology to artwork and poetry, attendees were amazed by the creativity and skills of these young performers!

This event was hosted by Black Alabamians for Education in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation.
