What:

Students, parents, and educators from across the Hawkeye State will gather to celebrate school choice at the state capitol on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. The event will raise awareness of the K–12 education options for Iowa families, while providing an opportunity for community and state stakeholders to hear directly from families about how school choice has helped them learn and succeed. Hosted by the Iowa Alliance for Choice in Education in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation, the event will also include breakfast with legislators.

Learn more about the options available for your child’s K–12 education! Whether you are considering finding a new school for your child, or are interested in supplemental education programs, the Des Moines School Fair offers parents the opportunity to discover the options available so that your daughter or son can learn, thrive, succeed, and be happy!

The Des Moines School Fair is hosted by Iowa Alliance for Choice in Education and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. More than 20 schools, including private schools, homeschool groups, virtual schools, traditional public schools, and charter schools, will have booths and tables.

Attendance is FREE and FREE FOOD AND FAMILY ACTIVITIES will be provided! Join us!
