What?
Families in Iowa have more choices for their children’s education than ever before! Parents learned more about the different K–12 education options available for their kids at the Des Moines School Fair on January 25th 2025, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm, at the Iowa State Fair Grounds.
At the school fair, parents had the chance to meet representatives from traditional public, public charter, public magnet, private, faith-based, online, home, and nontraditional schooling options, and get their questions answered.
The Des Moines School Fair was hosted by the Iowa Alliance for Choice in Education in collaboration with the National School Choice Awareness Foundation. It was family-friendly, free to attend, and included complimentary food, a balloon artist, and face painters.
