What?
On January 28th, 2025, students joined P.A.C.E. and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation for a celebration of school choice at the Michigan State Capitol!
We hosted over 100 students from schools from all over Michigan at the State Capitol to show support for school choice and share what it means to them. Students had the opportunity to explore the Capitol and meet their legislators throughout the day. Schools also participated in a service project by making fleece blankets to donate to organizations in the community such as children’s hospitals, offering a chance for students to give back to their communities.
This event highlighted many of our state’s educational options and the opportunities they offer to families. Featuring student and parent speakers, this event was an exciting opportunity for students to learn about the state capitol, and for legislators to hear from students, families, and educators about the importance of school choice!
