Students, parents, and educators will celebrate National School Choice Week with a school civics day at the Hawaii State Capitol, organized by HawaiiKidsCAN. 

WHAT:
Students from Wai’alae Public Charter School will tour the Hawaii State Capitol in Honolulu as part of a civics day to celebrate the effectiveness and benefits of K–12 school choice. This flagship event, which will shine a spotlight on the state’s K–12 education options, will feature a civics day for students allowing them to experience the Capitol, Iolani Palace, and Washington Place.

This event is designed to showcase the incredible vibrancy of Hawaii’s schools and students and raise positive statewide awareness of the diversity of education options available for families across Hawaii.
