Families are invited to a school fair and family fun day at the Houston Zoo, organized by Families Empowered.
WHAT:
Families Empowered is hosting their annual Houston School Fair at the Houston Zoo. The fair will feature over 50 local schools representing all types of education options, including traditional public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, virtual schools, and home education options. Families that attend will receive FREE admittance into the zoo, plus several other family-friendly activities including special animal interactions, a bounce house, a photo booth, a DJ, and free snacks!
The first 600 people in attendance will receive FREE admission into the zoo and a special wristband to get into our event. RSVP is required, and passes are first-come, first-served at the event. RSVP is not a guarantee of a ticket. Come meet schools, learn about local programs, and get FREE one-on-one help with all of your school applications. If you’re unable to attend in person, you are invited to join us online at www.applyhouston.org to find schools and access application links.
This is a free event with fun for the whole family. Join us as we celebrate National School Choice Week and learn about your K-12 educational choices. This will be one of Texas’ most prominent National School Choice Week events.
