Students and parents from Prince George County are invited to a school fair and family event at Bishop McNamara High School, organized by the Black Student Fund and Prince George’s Parent’s Alliance for Educational Options.

WHAT:
The Black Student Fund and Prince George’s Parent’s Alliance for Educational Options is hosting a school fair for Prince George County families. The fair will provide an opportunity for parents to explore and get information from more than 40 local independent schools. In addition, participating area schools will have the opportunity to showcase to parents what makes their school a possible good fit for their children.

This is a free event with fun for the whole family. The event will include workshops on admissions and financial aid at independent schools, a STEM Carnival, and face painting for children and much more!

Join us as we celebrate National School Choice Week and learn about your K-12 educational choices. This will be one of Maryland‘s most prominent National School Choice Week events.

National School Choice Week (NSCW) informs, inspires, and empowers parents to discover the K-12 education options available for their children, including traditional public, charter, magnet, online, private, and homeschooling.

Every January, tens of thousands of schools, organizations, and individuals plan unique events and activities to shine a positive spotlight on effective education options in their communities.  The Week is a project of the nonpartisan, nonpolitical National School Choice Awareness Foundation.
