Thirty-two of America’s Governors Proclaim “School Choice Week”

In a remarkable demonstration of unity, more than half of America’s governors have officially proclaimed School Choice Week this month. Thirty-one governors either have issued or will issue proclamations in honor of National School Choice Week stating that the week of Jan. 23 through Jan. 29 is officially “School Choice Week” in their respective states.

The governors are joined by approximately 400 cities or counties that have issued resolutions and proclamations in support of National School Choice Week. These span from Houston, Texas to Honolulu, Hawaii to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Additionally, the Senate has introduced a bipartisan resolution recognizing National School Choice Week 2022, to be voted on during the Week.
