Held from 12:00pm – 1:00pm, this event will feature legislators speaking on the importance of school choice and what school choice means to them and will highlight many of our state’s educational options and the opportunities they offer to families. Hosted in Phoenix Arizona, we will highlight students and parents speaking about the importance of school choice, and hear from leaders in the movement about the current state of school choice in the community. This event will be an inspiring day to amplify the voices of Black mothers and celebrate choice in education!

Hosted at the University of South Carolina Alumni Center, this event will begin with a talent showcase featuring students from across the state and continue with a spirit-filled march to the State Capitol Building. We will celebrate students’ access to school choice with a Proclamation from the governor and hear speeches from parents and students to share their school choice story.

Please join the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools and the National School Choice Awareness Foundation on January 21 2025, 11:00am to 2:00pm for a celebration of school choice at the Utah State Capitol Building! We will host over 600 students from nearly 40 charter schools from all over Utah to meet with legislators and share what school choice means to them. This event will highlight many of our charter schools and the educational opportunities they offer to families. Students will get the chance to tour the Capitol building with their representatives and learn about the legislative process.
In between, a lineup of performances will highlight the many talented students that we have in our charter schools. This event will be an exciting opportunity for students to learn about the state capitol, and for legislators to hear from students, families and educators about the importance of school choice!
